Welcome to Shrek The Musical JR BRAVO Cast!

A hilarious adventure celebrating individuality and friendship! This high-energy production offers exciting opportunities for both new and experienced performers to shine and grow in confidence and skill.


Camp kicks off with a fun, supportive audition process on the first day—designed to match every performer with the right role, no preparation or experience needed!


Tuition

  • Tuition for 4 Performances & 3 weeks of Camp: $950 with Early Bird Discount! (Regular Tuition is $1050)
  • Flexible Payment Plan: $250 deposit at registration, then 3 payments of $233.33 (Register by 4/14)

Class Requirements

  • All welcome. No experience needed.
  • Every registrant is guaranteed a role in the show.
  • Stage time matched to each child’s ability, goals, and readiness.
  • Students must attend the first day of camp to be cast in a lead or named role.

What you'll learn

  • Acting: Our signature method instills a step-by-step process with specific tools to dive into character development, script analysis, and stage presence.
  • Singing: Vocal training covers pitch control, projection, and expression, with one-on-one and small group lessons fostering personalized feedback and individual artistry.
  • Choreography: Movement classes focus on coordination, rhythm, and expressing stories through dance, while mastering choreography enhances memory, precision, and collaborative skills.
  • Teamwork and Collaboration: Develop the ability to work effectively with a diverse group, learning to combine individual talents for a greater collective outcome.
  • Enhanced Communication Skills: Learn to effectively express ideas, thoughts, and feelings, crucial for both on-stage performances and everyday interactions.

Sample Class Format

  • Running from 9 AM to 4 PM, Monday through Friday, our camp offers a structured and enriching daily schedule designed to maximize learning and enjoyment:
  • Focused Skill Workshops: Each day is filled with dedicated sessions aimed at developing acting, singing, and choreography/dance skills. These workshops are conducted by experienced instructors who specialize in nurturing young talent.
  • Rehearsal Time: Integral to our daily schedule, rehearsals provide campers the opportunity to put into practice the skills they've acquired. This hands-on approach is key to preparing for the final performance, allowing each participant to shine.
  • Peer Mentoring: Our camp values the importance of peer-to-peer learning and leadership development. Each day includes mentoring sessions, where campers can both offer and receive guidance, support, and insights, enhancing their overall camp experience.
  • This well-rounded schedule ensures that each camper not only learns the essential skills of musical theater but also develops important life skills like teamwork, leadership, and effective communication.

Cancellation Policy

Non-refundable $250 deposit required at registration. Withdrawal must be emailed to info@stpetemad.com, at least 10 business days prior to start. Not Prorated. A $50 processing fee is deducted from refund.

Artistic Director and Founder Dru Rabin, M.Ed., PMP, is an award-winning educator and a renowned leadership coach with a diverse 25-year experience. His unique career path blends performing arts with leadership development and organizational and community development, shaping his approach to arts education. Under Dru's guidance, St. Pete MAD cultivates personal growth and collaborative leadership, guiding students to discover their unique voice on stage and as a leader and community members.
