Join us for an exciting and interactive art class designed for young children and their caregivers!  Sweet Sprouts is a process based art playgroup for children that focuses on exploration, creativity, sensory engagement and connection. It allows our youngest artists to experiment with various materials while promoting development through hands-on, open-ended activities. The class is taken with a caregiver, who offers support and encouragement, creating a bonding experience. Come ready to explore, create, and make lasting memories through the magic of art!

This type of class nurtures a love for creativity, self-expression, and sensory play while strengthening the bond between child and caregiver.

I.  Program Overview:

• Class Format:  Classes are designed for your young artist to join along with an adult. Each class will consist of 60 minutes of structured activities beginning with a read-aloud and opportunity for movement and then will transition to age appropriate art activities for your curious child to explore.
• Classes run every Wednesday $22 per day, 10 session punch card available for $200
• Age Group: 1.5 -4 years old.  Sibling Discount.  Sibling babies under one and a half are free.
• Class Size: Up to 12 children to maintain a manageable and engaging learning environment.

II.  Learning Objectives:

• Creativity: Encouraging self-expression and imaginative thinking through art.
• Fine Motor Skills: Helping children develop their fine motor skills through art activities.
• Sensory Exploration: Promoting sensory exploration through various art materials.
• Social Interaction: Fostering social interaction and cooperation among toddlers.
• Bonding: Fostering a strong bond between caregiver and child through shared creative experiences.
• Pre-School Readiness: sharing, taking turns, respecting materials, respecting classroom expectations

III. Curriculum:

• Art Activities: Each class will have a variety of activities and art supplies for your young artist to explore. Four different centers will be available for children to move independently directed by their curiosity and interests.
• Materials: Included but not limited to non-toxic paints, crayons, markers, stamps, scissors, hole punchers, playdough, beads, blocks, manipulatives, pipe-cleaners, popsicle sticks, collage materials, glue, stickers, etc.

IV. What to Bring:

• Appropriate dress/shoes for outside play and to get messy.  We will take an outside break to stretch our minds and bodies!  It helps us be better artists!
• An open imagination and a spirit of play!
