Interested in a behind-the-scenes look at what it takes to put on a play? Have an interest in designing sound, lighting, costumes, sets, or props for a play, or in stage management? This class is for you! Students will gain insight into the design and management process of producing a piece of theatre, with some ability to follow their particular interests and focus on specific areas of theatre tech. You’ll gain practical experience working on the tech for one or more of our acting camps this week. This camp is similar to our one-week Theatre Tech camps but works closely with our two-week performance Supercamps, helping with their tech needs from start to finish, giving students a look at the entire design process for a more complicated piece of theatre.
Students will be providing tech for a performance on the final Friday at 3 pm and Saturday at 10 am.
Students should be entering 6th-12th grade starting fall 2025.
If a student withdraws before the first day of class, all tuition paid will be refunded minus the $25 non-refundable deposit.
