Led by a licensed and certified speech-language pathologist, a Little Talkers class is a great way to build both pre-verbal and verbal skills with fun and engaging activities for you and your little one. We use music, literacy, and sensory-motor activities to enhance joint attention, listening skills, vocalization, expressive language, turn-taking, and socialization through play. Each class utilizes meaningful gestures, baby sign language, and core words to expand communication skills in a meaningful way. Additionally, the instructor provides a "parenting tip" to focus on during each class and gives suggestions to facilitate language learning at home.

For health & safety reasons, the play space area at The Cubhouse requires shoes off and socks on for adults and children. Please remember to bring your socks and enjoy any food before or after your time in the play space. For classes involving movement, we recommend grippy socks.
Parents/caregivers will accompany their child in the class to assist them, model different targeted skills, and learn tips and tricks from the instructor. Additionally, an email will be sent home weekly reviewing skills and activities worked on in class as well as a parent tip!
