for children ages 1.5 - 3 years old

What better way for your child to engage, play, and have fun than through the magic of books? 

Little Book Club is a delightful and interactive class designed for toddlers aged 1.5 to 3 years old, combining storytime, and hands-on activities to bring books to life!

Join us Wednesdays for a literacy-rich adventure where little ones will:

📖 Enjoy interactive storytime – Engaging read-alouds with fun voices, props, and puppets

🎭 Act out stories – Encouraging imagination through role-playing

🎨 Get creative with book-based crafts – Painting, stamping, and sensory activities inspired by the story of the day

🧩 Engage in literacy-building play – Exploring letters, storytelling props, and hands-on activities

This class fosters a love for books while strengthening early literacy, language development, creativity, and social skills in a warm and playful setting. Each session is carefully designed to spark curiosity and joy, making reading an exciting and interactive experience for toddlers.

Parent or guardian involvement ensures a collaborative and enriching experience for everyone.

Parent or caregiver participation is required to assist the child during the activity.

PLEASE NOTE: All class/drop-in registrations and bookings are final. There are NO REFUNDS, credits, or make-ups for any drop-in classes or no-shows. Rescheduling is subject to availability for sessions purchased in a semester option, and a 24-hour advance notice via email is required.

The Play Lab in Williamsburg is an eco-friendly, sustainable and Montessori-inspired communal playspace designed for children aged 0 months to 7 years. Our space encourages imaginative play through open-ended, creative, and sensory-rich activities.

Every aspect of The Play Lab is crafted to foster independent and creative play, enhancing children's fine and gross motor skills, problem-solving abilities, and concentration as they grow.

We offer open play packages, yearly memberships, drop-in passes, classes, summer camp, birthday parties, and community events.
