Youth Art Tours will run Thursdays and Fridays from September 26th 2024 to May 23rd 2025.

Youth Art Tours offers youth, ages 7 to 24, opportunities to view, discuss and engage with art. Youth Art Tours run concurrent with exhibition offerings and are always unique to our exhibition content. 

In this program, professional Teaching Artists tour students through the art center and galleries for facilitated discussion of the artwork on view. Teaching Artists will also take students to see our active studio spaces and community members making art in different media. Students will then engage in a facilitated art-making activity inspired by the artwork on view.

Art Tours start promptly at 10am and end at 1pm. There is a 30 minute snack break outside in our courtyard during the tour. Students are also more than welcome to enjoy their lunch in our courtyard after the tour.

To Reserve a Tour:

• Please only list the main teacher for the day of the tour requested
• Groups of 25 students or less should register for 1 slot
  
• Groups of 26 to 50 students should register for 2 slots
  

Tour Confirmation:

• Once your reservation request is confirmed, your Youth Art Tour Confirmation will outline your booking details and the total cost of your tour.

Tour Pricing:

• Tours are a flat fee of $150 for 25 students (or less). 
• Additional students are $5 each. 

Large Groups:

For the safety of the students and our staff, we have a 50 student maximum per visit. For larger groups, please contact education@richmondartcenter.org for potential accommodations.
