Class Experience

Discover the joy of early childhood development in nature with our Little Sprouts class! This program is specially designed for our youngest learners, aged 0 to 18 months, and their caregivers. It focuses on introducing infants and toddlers to the wonders of the natural world through a series of structured and unstructured outdoor activities that stimulate all five senses.

Class Experience:

In the Little Sprouts class, we create a nurturing environment where the little ones can explore and interact with nature safely and freely. Each session involves sensory-based activities that promote cognitive, motor, and social skills. From feeling the textures of leaves and bark to hearing the soothing sounds of nature, every class is an opportunity for babies to develop a foundational connection with the outdoor world.

Subject Matter:

The curriculum includes:

  • Sensory Play: Engaging activities that utilize natural elements to enhance sensory development.

  • Music and Movement: Simple songs and movements that encourage auditory and motor skills, synchronized with nature’s rhythms.

  • Story Time: Nature-themed stories that introduce early language skills and foster a love for reading.

  • Nature Walks: Guided stroller-friendly walks that allow babies and caregivers to experience the outdoors together, highlighting the flora and fauna of the local environment.

Class Benefits:

  • Enhanced Motor Skills: Activities are designed to support early motor development, including crawling, balancing, and coordination.

  • Sensory Stimulation: Each class uses natural elements to stimulate sight, sound, touch, and smell, crucial for cognitive development.

  • Social Interaction: Provides a social setting for both infants and caregivers, fostering community connections and support networks.

Join our Little Sprouts class to give your infant or toddler a gentle introduction to the beauty and calm of nature, building blocks for a lifetime of outdoor appreciation. This program not only supports early development but also offers a unique bonding experience for you and your child under the canopy of nature’s classroom.
