A Journey into All Things Oz!

Join us this summer for an exciting one week summer camp in our new offering "Over the Rainbow: A Journey into All Things Oz!"  | June 23-27 | 9 AM - 4 PM

Step into the magical land of Oz this summer! This week-long theatre camp takes young performers on a creative journey through the enchanting world of OZ! Students will explore multiple OZ musicals including the original Wizard of Oz, The Wiz, and of course Wicked. Over five fun-filled days, campers will immerse themselves in the timeless story of Dorothy, the Wicked Witch (otherwise known as Elphaba), Glinda the Good, and more iconic characters, learning about the history and evolution of this legendary tale. Students will never want to click their heels and head home with the excitement that comes from singing and dancing to beloved songs like Mery Ol Land of OZ, Somewhere over the Rainbow, Ease on Down the Road, and of course Defying Gravity. 

In addition to learnng musical theatre selections through performance, students will also learn about the origins of the "OZ" stories, from L. Frank Baum's original novel to the modern Broadway adaptations, and how this beloved tale has shaped theatre, film, and culture. 

This camp is perfect for kids who love to sing, dance, and explore new characters, whether they’re a seasoned performer or trying theatre for the first time. On the last day of camp, campers will showcase what they've learned with a special performance for family and friends!
