Welcome to the next step in your child's sewing journey! This class builds on the skills learned in Learn to Sew I and is specifically designed for our youngest students, ages 7-8, while also being open to older beginners up to age 12. 

Each 6-week session introduces a new project, such as a pocket pillow, drawstring bag, or bedside pocket caddy, allowing your child to explore a variety of techniques while completing fun, creative projects.

Throughout each session, your child will learn the basics of working with patterns, following step-by-step instructions, and building confidence as they sew. We’ve crafted this class to suit the shorter attention spans of our youngest stitchers by focusing on manageable, age-appropriate projects while providing enough depth and variety to keep older students engaged and challenged.

If your child is a recent Learn to Sew I graduate , this class offers the perfect blend of skill-building and creativity to help them continue developing their sewing abilities until they ready to enter the more advanced Fashion classes.

Sept/Oct: Pocket Pillow

Nov/Dec: Pajama Shorts

Jan/Feb: Bedside Caddy

March/April: Drawstring Bag

Prerequisites:
Prior completion of Learn To Sew I or equivalent sewing experience is required.
