Shower the guest of honor with love and make a beautiful scrapbook or journal she will be sure to cherish. Owner and Artist Jill Newman will provide all the supplies, supportive instruction, and inspiration for your dream bridal shower, baby shower, or any other celebration! Ages 11 and up.

There are a few ways to do a scrapbooking or journal party Participants can be asked to bring photos (even printer versions are great for this project). Each person can make a 12" x 12" page for the guest of honor and a second page to keep. For a baby shower, consider creating crafty blank pages (12" x 18") for a baby journal for the mom-to-be to fill in during baby's first year. Jill will discuss all the options with the host to create something truly special for the bride, expectant mom, or other guest of honor.

Note: This is artsier than your typical scrapbook project. No stickers or thin scrapbook paper. We will be using paints, gel pens, markers, stencils, stamps, paper punches, tracing and transfer papers, and more to create our pages on cardstock and mixed media art paper.

Zazzy Peacock Studios is a colorful and inviting space. A festive banner and chalkboard art will be displayed for the occasion. Colorful aprons are available to wear for messy projects. You provide cake, food, refreshments, plates, napkins, utensils, and any other party decorations that you would like. When you arrive, the table will be set with a cloth tablecloth as well as a clear plastic covering. When we finish crafting, we remove the plastic and eat on the clean tablecloth.

During the final half hour of the two-hour party, you may serve cake or cupcakes and drinks. You are welcome to bring other snacks as well, but there isn't time for a meal. You have the option to craft for the full two hours and go elsewhere else for food and cake.

Host families are welcome to come a half hour before for set-up and to stay a half-hour after to pack up gifts while I clean up. (Yes, no need to worry about all those crumbs and craft supplies on the floor!) If you'd like to have more than 12 participants, up to 16 max, an additional fee of $75 applies, which covers extra materials and as well as special room set-up.
