Loved:
I love this class! Deb is such a skilled teacher, especially so for those of us newer to dance; she is encouraging, creative and knows when to challenge us. Learning how to dance was intimidating before I started taking classes here, but everyone I've met is kind, welcoming, and open to learning/trying new things.
Improvements:
I would love for more people to learn about and join the contemporary class! One semester we had 7 or so people and it was so great to learn within a group.

Loved:
The atmosphere is warm, inclusive, and uplifting, perfect for beginners and seasoned dancers (or in my case, a beginner as a former seasoned dancer). The instructor, Patrice, is a graceful powerhouse of an instructor. She has a rare talent for making everyone feel seen and supported across all levels, which is no small task. Whether you're mastering your first plié or perfecting your arabesque, she meets you where you are, with encouragement, clarity and a smile.
Improvements:
I wish we could have had a longer semester, with opportunities to meet more than 1x/week! It's just that good. I look forward to it every week and feel amazing after each session.

Loved:
Learning about the different choreographers and then experiencing some of their movements. I love the teachers, the studio space and the general vibe of SOTA. Thank you!
Improvements:
Not much, except maybe more daytime adult dance classes.
